He was born on July 5 to Emmanuel Mettle and Florence Addo in Accra, Ghana. Joe Mettle began his primary education at the Richard Akwei Memorial School and later joined Kade Primary school where he studied for a year. Joe Mettle then moved from there to Korle Gonno 3 JHS and later graduated from His Majesty Academy. He studied draftmanship at Modern School of Draftsmanship. Then he finally has his tertiary education at the Pentecost University College, Accra. Joe Mettle was the first gospel musician to be Artist of The Year at the Vodafone music awards. He has also received a lot of awards at various awards programs organised in the country and across the continent. Joe Mettle has an estimated net worth of about $ 1.3K. He earned this through his career as a musician. Joe Mettle started his music career as a backing vocalist for some gospel musicians in the country. Joe married Salomey Selassie Dzisa in a traditional marriage ceremony in Accra on August 13, 2020 and followed with an official wedding ceremony in Tema. Joe Mettle is the first Gospel musician in Ghana to win VGMA Artiste of the year award. He is the most influential gospel artist hailing from Ghana. Joe Mettle’s real name is Joseph Oscar Mettle. He was born in Ghana . Joe celebrates his birthday on 5 July. Joe is very private about his life and the year of his birth has never been disclosed. He comes from a family of six with five siblings and is the eldest of the six children and his parents are Florence Addo and Emmanuel Mettle. His family was not well up, so to make ends meet, he found himself involved in the trades of items such as brooms, canes, waakye leaves, and sponges. He does acknowledge this made him to be someone who’s hard working and be the man that he is today. His parents struggled to pay for his school fees, and he sometimes had to skip school in order to go make money by playing the drums at church.
